Ibrahim is known for his work as lead guitarist for several internationally acclaimed bands and artists including The Stone Roses, Simply Red, Ian Brown, Paul Weller, Steven Wilson and Asia.
His solo works include his acclaimed album telling the story of his familyâs journey from Lahore To Longsight’ , the EP ‘Middle Road’ , and album ‘Rusholme Rock’, all showcasing his unique blend of progressive rock and Asian Blues.

Manchesterâs otherworldly music collective, Folklore Society, is the creative union of Johnny Evans and Wayne Edwards.
Seasoned musicians Evans and Edwards have a rich history of playing with renowned acts like Happy Mondays, Buffalo 66, and Liam Gallagher. This experience fuels their music, described as a captivating blend of beautiful, original, and moving soundscapes.
Folklore Society transcends the typical band model. Johnny Evans crafts the foundation of their music, drawing inspiration from Eivør, Kate Bush, Sigur Rós, and Peter Gabriel. Wayne Edwards then infuses these compositions with his own sonic alchemy, playing a multitude of instruments and shaping the final product.
