Join Picador Poetry Presents for a night of performance and spoken-word with three of the most dynamic poets working today. Award-winning writer and performer Harry Josephine Giles (Them!) introduces her challenging and subversive collection of poems about trans life as it is lived today. T.S Eliot Prize shortlisted poet Raymond Antrobus brings (Signs, Music) a meditation on fatherhood and masculinity, linking his experience of becoming a father with that of being parented. Jackie Kay (May Day) introduces her long-awaited new collection to the night, a lyrical book chronicling a life of activism in the UK over six decades, fusing grief and profound change with the light of love and celebration.
Picador Poetry editors Colette Bryce and Ebruba Abel-Unokan, will open the night, and copies of each poets’ collections will be available to purchase on the night via Real Magic Books.
