Join Flo Lloyd-Hughes and some special guests for a pre-Women’s World Cup special event in partnership with Stanchion Books. Flo and her friends will be hosting a panel session previewing the tournament, with a focus on the big teams, big stars and ones to watch this summer.
Plus there will also be a chance to purchase Flo’s book, Rise of the Lionesses: Incredible Moments from Women’s Football, and have it signed.
The participants:
Jessy Parker Humphreys is a freelance women’s football writer and broadcaster. They are the host of Blue Royalty and a member of the Counter Pressed podcast as well as writing regularly for The Analyst and FourFourTwo. Other bylines include The Athletic, The Independent and the Evening Standard
James Lewis is a 24-year-old arsenal loving, women’s football obsessed social media editor, football creative and content creator. He’s featured on Copa90 and Guardian Women’s Football Weekly
Flo Lloyd-Hughes is a football journalist, author and broadcaster. She has written for the Guardian and The Athletic, and recently wrote her first book, Rise of the Lionesses: Incredible Moments from Women’s Football with Walker Books. She hosts a women’s football podcast called Counter Pressed in partnership with Spotify and The Ringer and is a regular on Wrighty’s House, a podcast hosted by former Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright.
